Ingleses is a neighborhood located in the north of the island of Florianópolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is a neighborhood highly sought after by tourists due to its beautiful beaches and its tourist infrastructure.
The beaches of Ingleses are wide and extensive, with crystal clear waters and white sand, ideal for bathing, water sports and fishing. Among the best known beaches are Praia dos Ingleses, Praia do Santinho and Praia do Moçambique.
In addition to the beaches, the neighborhood offers several leisure options, such as bars, restaurants, shopping malls, craft fairs, water parks and ecological trails. The center of the English is quite busy and has a wide variety of shops and services.
The neighborhood is also known for its strong presence of Azorean culture, which is reflected in gastronomy, popular festivals and religious traditions.
Access to the neighborhood is made by SC-401, the main highway that connects the northern region of the island to the center of Florianópolis. There are also public transport options and taxis available in the region.

Getting around can be done on foot or by car. If you need to go to more distant locations, Uber in Florianópolis/SC works very well and can take you to any beach on the island.

- Santinho Dunes (400m): Santinho Dunes are a natural attraction with unique landscapes. Great place for hiking and enjoying the panoramic views of the region. It is also known for housing rock inscriptions;
- Face Da Rocha Trail (750m): challenging trail with panoramic views that leads to the top of Morro da Aranha. Recommended for experienced hikers;
- Centrinho dos Ingleses (1.8km): busy area with shops, bars and restaurants. Popular meeting point and lively nightlife with varied options;
- Morro das Aranhas Trail (3.1km): an option for trail lovers. It has stunning views of Santa Catarina Island and the ocean. Recommended for those who enjoy outdoor adventures;
- Água Show Park (6.3km): Água Show Park is a fun water park for the whole family. It has exciting slides, swimming pools and leisure areas. Ideal for a day of fun and relaxation;
- Ponta das Canas Beach (12km): quiet and family-friendly beach, with calm waters and ideal for children;
- Praia de Canasvieiras (11.8km): Praia de Canavieiras is a quiet and less frequented beach. Great for relaxing and enjoying a calmer, more natural environment, perfect for kayaking and bird watching;
- Canajurê Beach (13.7km): quiet beach with calm sea. Great for water sports and with good restaurant options nearby;
- Lagoa da Conceição (28km): Lagoa da Conceição is a natural paradise, in the heart of Florianópolis/SC. Perfect for water sports, such as windsurfing and stand-up paddleboarding, it has a lively atmosphere with bars, restaurants and shops;
- Center (32.4km): heart of the city, with history and culture, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Public Market. It has varied commerce and gastronomic options;
- Bus station (33.6km): main intercity and interstate bus terminal in Florianópolis/SC. Located in the city center, it facilitates access to other parts of the island and the continent;
- Airport (45.4km): Hercílio Luz International Airport is the main airport in Florianópolis/SC and one of the busiest in Santa Catarina.
