This was a lovely place for the money. Just wish there had been a way to dry out! Being on the beach, everything is already “damp”, so everything feels wet to the touch. Everything smells musty, from towels to bedding and pillows. There is no A/C for temperature or climate control, so windows must be opened for fresh air, which exacerbates the moisture issue. It’s a difficult problem to conquer. Installing dehumidifiers or a mini-split A/C might help with the excessive moisture issue. I’m from the Deep South in the US and am familiar with heat and humidity, so am familiar with mold and mildew issues. Always an uphill battle. Ugh! But still a gorgeous place and a lovely stay! I’d go back and hope for sunny skies instead of three days of rain 😳‼️

Janice and Cheryl were responsive and helpful from my very first enquiry with them. Whenever I had any questions, I never needed to wait long for a response and the help was always appreciated! The cottage itself is beautiful, I have not had peace like this stay in a very long time, it was a great place to settle back and do some work in a peaceful quiet environment with a 2 minute walk to the beach for some lunchtime exercise. the unit retains heat too which helps on the cold winter days, it was almost always comfortable. The evening braais with the waves in the background bring a sense of serenity that most people are missing out on. Big bonus - The internet is fibre so remote working is 100% available here 24/7!!!! I will be back soon, Thank you Janice!

This was a cute little place to stay as it is very close to the beach we enjoyed staying over at Janice just that it’s a bit small and house is very close to each other so one can hear the neighbours speaking very loud.. when they have a braai or is just outside but it was still nice.

What a cute cottage. Literally a minutes walk from a beautiful beach. 2 minutes from the local store. Quiet and secure location. Both Janice and Cheryl were super friendly, responsive and accommodating. All in all a wonderful stay!

A memorable and cozy stay. Walking distance to the beach and the kids enjoyed the freedom of the resort.
