Aiden’s flat is in a brilliant central location but not noisy. It’s very roomy, stylish and comfy in a lovely period courtyard. The bathroom and kitchen are not what you’d expect from a sparkly clean hotel room but it’s very much home from home and I would happily stay here again.

Aidan’s place was a perfect location for exploring Edinburgh! The apartment was ideally situated right on the Royal Mile, which was super convenient throughout the whole trip. A few things to be aware of: the apartment is a 4th floor walk-up so if lots of stairs are going to be a problem for you, that’s something to consider. Also, this is Aidan’s home, so the apartment is a little more cluttered and a different sort of cleanliness than when you stay somewhere that is only used for rentals. To be clear, the apartment was absolutely clean, it just doesn’t have that same sterile feel of a home that isn’t lived in regularly, so if you are a little more particular about that sort of thing, this is just something to be aware of. Overall, an old building with a lot of charm, with a gorgeous view of Arthur’s Seat, and in a great location!

My stay at Aidan’s apartment was great. Very spacious, clean and comfortable! Easy location to get to and close to everything I wanted to see.
