It’s never nice to leave a less-than-positive review, especially when the hosts were nice, but I couldn’t give a 5* here. Judging by the other reviews, I might have had an unlucky experience, but my concerns were by no means ‘picky’. Mugs in the kitchen all had dried drinks inside them. As though someone had drank a coffee, the mug had dried out and left flakes inside. This was all of the mugs. The non en-suite bathroom was quite unclean. Particular around the toilet area, where there was hair and grime at the area where the seat attached to the bowl. Finally, there was the smell. I got the sense that there had been a very bad smell at the apartment beforehand, and HEAVY amount of disinfectant had been used to mask it. Anyone who has been in a suit shop in Thailand will understand. It was severe odour. We weren’t staying there for long, and didn’t want to spend our time in Jakarta waiting for cleaners etc. Even if we had reported this to the host, we shouldn’t need to.

Een uitstekend appartement met een zeer goede locatie. De hosts zijn super vriendelijk en reageren heel snel op vragen. Het inchecken en uitchecken verliep heel eenvoudig. De volgende keer zal ik dit appartement zeker nog een keer boeken.

Location was great— everything was as described — bathrooms were clean and showers very nice and hot. Host was not as responsive but got slightly better towards the end. Plus some minor touches like toilet paper and condiments would be nice.
