Hosts, pool & Wi-Fi make up for most of the short falls on the accommodation. A bit of updating would go a long way without loosing the rustic charm. If not, would recommend a more honest listing, it is tired and it really isn’t 2bedroom as the stairs are outside & access to the amenities in the night from that room would no doubt spark a noisy reception from the dogs. Before booking, suggest you ask for photos of the bathroom, and the lighting throughout is inadequate. You cannot lock the accommodation up which should be made clearer. Finally accepting that the dogs live there it would be good to be able to stop them (if you wanted to) accessing the terrace in front of the accommodation so you can leave the doors open.

Absolutely perfect stay at Zoe and Martin's quinta, we had a very relaxing time thanks to the charming hospitality of the great hosts as well as the lovely company of their wonderful dogs, cats and Elsa, the star of the show, a most delightful piggy, to whom we made sure to give many belly rubs which she kindly accepted! Definitely recommended to all animal lovers coming to visit the Algarve who much prefer a rustic rural setting to the hustle and bustle of the busy main towns. We will return as soon as we can for some horse riding and more fun times with the animals. Thanks again, we had a great experience! Best regards, Z&S

What an absolute treat it was staying with Zoe and Martin. They're great hosts and the area was perfect; peaceful, beautiful and full of character. Sitting on the patio looking out over the countryside and sea, surrounded by friendly dogs, horses and a strawberry loving pet pig, it's one of the most enjoyable places I've ever stayed. An animal lover's paradise. Thanks guys. We can't wait to come back.

Positives : - Beautiful location with wonderful views of Portuguese countryside - Lovely rustic traditional cottage (due to the cottage being fully immersed in nature, expect some bugs) - Very peaceful and ideal for a relaxing short holiday - Friendly free roaming dogs and Elsa the pig - Reasonably priced Negatives : - The mezzanine bedroom was much smaller than expected. Clearer pictures should be provided (with that being said, the host did offer to provide an alternative separate bedroom) - Bathroom could use some updates - Couple living by the parking space seemed to be annoyed by our presence

Thank you so much to Zoe and Martin for the hospitality we were met with! The estate is truly welcoming, a perfect place to spend a peaceful weekend especially for those who also enjoy the company of 4 legged friends. It was lovely to be surrounded by nature and the southern breeze. Cheers!
