Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, this charming holiday home enjoys a peaceful rural setting near the village of Sawdon (2.5 miles) and within easy reach of the Victorian seaside resort of Scarborough (12.5 miles) on the North Yorkshire coast. It’s part of a complex of properties surrounded by gorgeous gardens, nature and wildlife. Enjoy country walks right from your doorstep or hop on two wheels and meander along pretty country lanes. From the bottom of the drive, you can walk to Raptor Viewpoint (1.5 miles) in Wykeham Forest for spectacular views of the Troutsdale Valley and forests, while peregrine falcons and honey buzzards soar in the skies above. Step inside this charming holiday home which has welcoming open-plan interiors with exposed timber beams, and a country style. Store coats and walking shoes in the hallway and unwind in the spacious living area with a Smart TV, the perfect place to gather and catch up on the day. Or congregate around the kitchen island while the culinary kings and queens in your group rustle up the most delicious of feasts in the well-equipped kitchen to enjoy at the dining table with ample seating. There’s a breakfast bar for morning coffees, and a handy utility area here too. When night falls, you’ll find two cosy en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, and two en-suite bedrooms upstairs. On sunny afternoons, enjoy BBQ feasts on the seated patio while children and pup pals bound about on the spacious lawn. Pack a picnic and relax in the rose garden and orchard, or venture up to the stargazing pod which has wonderful views of rolling countryside - and perfect for social evenings.
