I stayed for a month getting to know the area with a view to settling in the vicinity & this was the perfect base - wonderful, knowledgable hosts, quiet environment & peaceful countryside with only a 12 min drive into the centre of Cascais and a 15 min traffic free walk to Guincho beach. I’d recommend having a car as the village has limited amenities, but everything you need is a short drive away & the train from Cascais will take you into central Lisbon in no time. I can’t recommend My Friends House highly enough.

The place was clean and cozy but located in a quiter area, right next to a wonderful walking path (can recommend for people travelling with dogs). The hosts were really welcomening, quick to respond and flexible when it came to the check out. Céline also put a lot of effort in providing us with additional information about the area (restaurants, etc.). all in all, great stay :)

das Haus war sehr gemütlich wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und der Kamin war toll ;) wir konnten von dort aus tolle Aktionen unternehmen

The cottage is in a very quiet area and has stunning views. It is very close to Guincho beach (5 min drive) and Cascais (12 minute drive). The house is really clean, very well furbished and extremely cozy. Celine and David are really welcoming, always helpful and keen on giving advice for restaurants, shops and places to visit. It is really worth it!
