This lovely cottage is brimming with character inside and out, featuring exposed stone walls and sturdy oak beams. A classic countryside décor further enhances the cosiness and charm. In the lounge, sink into the comfy sofas and armchairs and enjoy a film or documentary on the Smart TV, or play one of the games provided for a fun evening. The bright and well-appointed galley kitchen is ideal for preparing meals, to be enjoyed at the adjacent dining table. You’ll have two delightful outdoor spaces to enjoy: the enclosed front garden has a lawn area with flowerbeds – perfect for savouring afternoon tea in the natural surroundings. At the rear, a terrace with a dining set and BBQ is perfect for outdoor meals. Next to the cottage, a stream flows into a rocky gorge and pool, creating a truly tranquil backdrop. When it’s time to discover the wider area, keen hikers can make a beeline for the Black Mountain range (9 miles) or tackle the tallest peak in the Brecons, Pen y Fan (14.5 miles). Brecon (10.5 miles) is a lovely town famous for its Georgian architecture and is where the rivers Usk and Honddu meet. While away an afternoon at its Royal Welsh Regimental Museum or visit the medieval cathedral, followed by a yummy lunch or dinner in one of its many eateries.
