Turin is made up of different neighborhoods, each of which hides curiosity, beauty and charm. Some more than others resemble small villages and wandering through their streets you can find the typical atmosphere of small villages while remaining within a large city. This is precisely the case of Borgo Campidoglio, a sub-district of the Piedmontese capital where you will find our Loft Labò.
A working-class neighborhood from the late 19th century, Borgo Campidoglio is today an essentially residential area of ​​Turin made up of small houses with internal courtyards and green areas, low buildings, narrow streets, play areas, small squares, artisan shops and restaurants which make it more like a small village and not a neighborhood of a large city, at times taking on a picturesque and ancient air.
In addition to this country village atmosphere, Borgo Campidoglio offers numerous places of interest and curiosities. Majestic and imposing, the Church of Sant'Alfonso Maria de' Liguori stands above the small houses of the Turin neighborhood: the neo-Baroque building, built at the end of the 19th century, strongly desired by the theologian Domenico Bongioanni, a pupil of Don Giovanni Bosco.
But the major characteristic of Borgo Campidoglio, which distinguishes it from other Turin neighborhoods and hamlets, is the presence of many murals and artistic installations set on the walls of the houses, on fake windows whose cornice has become the frame of a painting, between the doors of the homes, on shop shutters, on benches, on garden walls and in many other places. Borgo Vecchio Campidoglio is in fact the home of the MAU – Museum of Urban Art of Turin which is, to all intents and purposes, the first open-air contemporary art museum in an urban center in Italy. An incredible open-air museum that houses over 170 works created by numerous artists who have left their art and imprint on the walls of this Turin neighborhood. Here, walking through the cobbled streets you will come across giant whales, mountain landscapes, portraits, trompe-l'œil, flower growers, benches inspired by great artists and much more.
In Borgo Campidoglio you walk with your nose turned upwards, always ready to scrutinize a work, a drawing, a color and a pinch of art and beauty.

- The parking available in the area is on the road with blue lines (they are present throughout the center and surrounding area).
- It is possible to use a paid municipal car park: Richelmy car park (via del sarto, corner of via medail). It is an 8-minute walk from the accommodation.
To move by public transport towards the centre:
- The tram 13 "risorgimento" stop is a 2-minute walk away.
- The “Bernini” metro stop in Piazza Bernini is a 7-minute walk away.
