Its in the 2nd storey of a registered historic building, right above Cow Cafe and Bella’s Cafe , same block to Chelsea’s Restaurant, Bayleaf authentic Indian restaurant, Bank of the Arts, a block to the Pepsi Store! Walking distances to local attractions, including Tryon Palace, Convention Center, waterfront, quaint shops, bars, and restaurants. All guest spaces are roomy in this 1,000 sq ft accommodation, thus the name Cozy. With private guest entrance and parking space. Exterior stairway. Original hardwood floors in most areas with high ceilings. Kafer Building is one of New Bern’s nationally registered historic building, still bearing its 1880s character . This is a re-listed short-term rental. Also ideal for midterm rental. There are two other units listed in airbnb in the same building for short term and midterm rentals. great place to stay
Perfect spot for exploring New Bern and surrounding areas. You can walk to all of the downtown area restaurants, shopping and points of interest. Great location if you are looking to ditch your car and walk everywhere. The apartment is in a historic building above a downtown business but I heard no noise from downstairs. High ceilings and wood floors. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need and some things you didn't know you needed (even a crockpot!). Foil, wax paper, cling wrap and various Tupperware containers. Bakeware, cookware and utensils look new. The kitchen was SPOTLESS. The bathrooms SPOTLESS. The bed linens were dreamy and the bed firm but very comfortable. Great light and energy. Washer and dryer were not smelly, again SPOTLESS. This is a clean, safe and comfortable place. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Maria! 😊🙏
Great location. Everything was better than expected. Would definitely book this again if i ever find myself down there. The businesses below close early so dont be afraid of noise keeping you up.
Great location! Everything you could want from restaurants to shops to parks was in walking distance. The property itself was quite spacious.

This beautiful riverfront community has been named as America's 100 Best Places to Retire and one of the Top 10 Coastal Towns Where You Can Afford to Retire. The neuse riverwalk, shops, restaurants and local attractions are in the same block to 3 blocks from the rental.
Guest has a free private parking for 1 car. Use the Hancock St. parking entrance by the railroad ( facing Brightspeed ). Street parking is free on weekends. Blue coded parking spaces in Hancock Private Parking lot are also free on weekends. There is a 2hr free street parking from Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. To park extra car, you may use the First Citizens Bank parking lot in Middle Street, right across Bella’s and Cow cafes. Disregard the towing sign.
