Enjoy sweeping views of the Derwent River in this light and spacious two-storey, 3-bedroom house in Rosny. Elevated on Rosny Hill, look out to Bellerive and its picturesque marina from the front rooms of this home. With three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, the home comfortably sleeps six – ideal for a getaway with friends, or a family holiday. Featuring two living rooms, the house offers spaces for both quiet relaxation, or entertaining and is a 15-minute walk from local Bellerive cafes. Guests enter the home via the lower level that opens into a large living room to relax and unwind, or give to the kids to enjoy - the room features a lounge suite, flat screen TV and gas heater. You will find one of the bedrooms and the convenience of a powder room also downstairs. Venture upstairs to a spacious, light-filled galley style kitchen, with all the modern conveniences. Featuring a contemporary oven and stove top perfect for preparing large dinners, as well as microwave, dishwasher and coffee pod machine. Nestled between the kitchen and lounge room is a formal dining room, with six-seat dining table and stunning views of the Derwent River to enjoy breakfast and a morning coffee, or a sit-down dinner with good friends or family. The upstairs lounge room is another space that streams natural light and river views, with a large lounge suite to curl up in after a long day of sightseeing. Two generous sized bedrooms with Queen beds adorn the upstairs level, each beautifully decorated and light-filled. The home has a very large bathroom with double vanity and shower, tiled floors and lots of cupboard and bench space to accommodate all guests comfortably. A laundry with washing machine and dryer is found at the rear of the house, along with a paved outdoor area and sheltered terrace with outdoor table setting to enjoy the clean air, while being protected from the breeze. One of the best short walks on Hobart’s eastern shore is literally outside the back gate. The circuit track undulates around the perimeter of Rosny Hill taking in views of Kangaroo Bay, the Derwent River, Mt Wellington (Kunanyi) and the Tasman Bridge.

Michelles place is amazing, photos do not do it justice and the view is amazing. The place is clean and very homey and has everything you ever need, cannot give enough praise for Michelles place, definitely would stay again 10/10.
A great home to relax in with a spectacular view from the lounge and dining room. We’d certainly stay again if we come back to Hobart from the UK!

Absolutely beautiful views, we loved our stay here! We would come back. Things to note is there is a steep driveway so couldn’t park there as the hire car would have scraped but the street is very safe to park on. The hot water and heating cut out for a night as they were on at the same time, so would be mindful of that to not have them on the same time. Though Michelle and her team were quick to respond and able to help and sent an electrician out. They always responded quickly to any questions. The house felt like home. So relaxing and in such a lovely spot! Thanks for having us! We actually got engaged in your home too! So lovely memories.

Rosny is a scenic, quiet residential suburb located on the eastern shore of the Derwent River, approximately 4km from Hobart’s city centre.
With sweeping views of the River, the Tasman Bridge and Mount Wellington, the area looks directly across from Hobart CBD.
Rosny Hill and its lookout is located just behind the home, guests can make the short trek to enjoy expansive views, as well as multi-purpose paths and cycleways to exercise in nature, or make your way to Hobart’s CBD.
Enjoy the cafes and conveniences of nearby Bellerive, a 15-20 minute walk from the house, and supermarkets at Eastlands Shopping Mall a five minute drive away.
Metro Tasmania bus stop near Rosny College, a 10-minute walk from the house can take you into Hobart.
Taxi’s and Uber are also available, as well as Neuron and Beam Scooters available to rent via apps.
