Eileen & John's apartment was ideal for an enjoyable stay in Killarney. It was close to many Killarney sites, as well as having easy access to travels around the area, and the views from the apartment were beautiful. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Eileen was gracious and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this lodging when visiting Killarney!

This was our 3rd stay in this beautiful Beautiful cottage, however the freezer wasnt freezing very well and the water power from showers wasnt great. This would be my only 2 issues as its a fab place to stay and would do so again.

We had a lovely stay in Carriglea cottage. The cottage itself was clean and spacious with a great kitchen and dining area where we would plan our daily adventures. Eileen visited us the morning after we arrived, she told us some of the history and gave us suggestions for where to go and restaurants to visit The Killarney National forest was just across the street; we enjoyed walking on the many trails looking for birds, visiting Muckross Castle and Abbey, and we even made a longer trek to Torc waterfall. We also walked into Killarney town one evening to enjoy a night out. Using our rental car, we were able to visit the Gap of Dunloe, the Dingle peninsula, the Bog museum (a little kitschy but interesting and the Irish Coffee at the Fox Pub was fabulous), and some woolen stores. The Carriglea cottage is a wonderful place to stay for the home itself and the location.

5 star stay all around, my parents were in one cottage and our family of 6 was in the other. Cottages are so beautiful and peaceful, the grounds and view are unparalleled! I would stay here again in a heart beat and recommend to others without hesitation!

What a lovely property and lovely people owning it. We had a couple of requests before arriving and via email communication, nothing seemed too much trouble. We arrived late but the cottage was lit, warm and welcoming after our long journey down from Dublin. Eileen had left a few provisions for us and came round the following day to check all was well. Although we only stayed for a few days, it was a fantastic place to stay, just 2km’s from the centre of Killarney and close to all the attractions it offers, whilst at the same time being peaceful and secluded. We hope to return to the area next year and will definitely be staying there again if it is available.
