We were a group of 3 families staying over Easter and we all had a wonderful time! Chris and Liz were lovely and so accomodating. Very responsive to messages and leading up to the booking, Liz was great to chat to. The kids loved wandering around the yard, seeing the cows. We had a lovely walk out the back of the property and scrambling up the granite mounds. A great place to stay, sit and relax but also very close to the restaurants and tavern in town and wineries etc. Ask Liz for wine tasting tips. Happily recommend!

Seeking a family or small group getaway? Here is a quality home base to explore the Ballandean area and Granite Belt attractions. We were able to have a local team deliver a delicious meal. With a spacious interior and five bedrooms, the home was perfect for our extended family gathering. Very supportive hosts.

We loved our stay. We went on a multigenerational holiday with grandparents, parents and teenagers and this house really suited our needs, with the master bedroom for the grandparents giving them a bit of privacy and their own bathroom. Kitchen is great to cook in (love the huge gas stove), with a big dinning room table to comfortably fit everyone and a HUGE couch to chill on in the lounge room. Liz and Chris's place is in beautiful peaceful surrounds with a very easy short drive to Girraween, there are cows, a lake, and so much bird life. My mum is a bird watcher and she says it was amazing to go out early in the morning and take photos. The frogs at night sung us to sleep. Chris was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and gave us some great recommendations for day trips and food (and bird watching). Hosts were very responsive and their vegetable garden provided greens for our meals. Would definitely go back.

Liz and Chris made sure we were comfortable from the time we arrived. it felt like home. great place and location. definitely recommend this place. perfect for a great get together. the kids love patting the cows.
