Lisa's place is simply lovely, nestled in the heart of Southern Lancaster County on a working farm. I grew up in the area and while back visiting family wanted a place that reminded me of my younger days in a 19th-century farm home. The cottage did not disappoint. It is simply gorgeous on the inside; you immediately feel at home. The kitchenette is well supplied, and Lisa was more than generous with treats and foods in the fridge, including local milk and fresh eggs. The stairs may be daunting for those with mobility issues -- and likely would be prohibitive for some, but I'm in my early sixties and got used to going up and down. The king bed is comfortable and you can peek out the small window first thing in the morning. Outdoors, there are three charming seating areas with stunning views of the countryside. It was perfect, and I hope to stay again. (For those visiting the area to learn about the Amish, this is an ideal area, more authentic that the touristy places around Route 30).
If you are looking for a peaceful, country escape, look no further. Lisa and Brian have created a magical, old-fashioned guesthouse that matches the quaintness of Amish Country.
We enjoyed this beautiful slice of heaven on the farm. The little touches truly made us feel at home. The house itself was very comfortable and we all slept great. This is a special place to visit :)

We walked into Lisa’s place and it was like taking a step back in time to the simple life. Lisa took the time to write a personal welcome card and made us feel right at home! Highly recommend staying in this farmhouse, it’s a great country experience. The breakfast was fantastic and had everything we needed and more! Thanks Lisa!
