After a few days in Delhi, we were looking for a quiet place in nature to relax. This beautiful cottage at the Yumuna River was just a perfect match. The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive and made us feel at home. From our room we enjoyed the stunning view over the river, surrounded by fields and trees. We enjoyed our stay a lot and highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an extraordinary place to escape from the city and wants to spent some quiet days in nature, reading and enjoying the good life.

It is one of those places that you want to keep as your little secret! If solitude is what you seek...this is indeed the place. A good view...a lovely evening breeze and some very tasty food add to the charm! It can be warm in summers though...and it is not a conventional place but it does calm you down and to me that is priceless!

This is a lovely, picturesque spot by the river Yamuna, not far from Vikasnagar. I enjoyed my stay, the staff were lovely (I speak hindi, so I didn't try out their english), and the building is an old one - none of the rough cement walls or grotty satin curtains such as one finds in hotels in this area. Simple but comfortable, I slept well and enjoyed the food. Make sure you take the turning along the river past the ashram from Jamnapur (it's opposite a sweetmeat shop, before the bridge over the river), rather than going the long way around the mountains. When you arrive there is a school, you drive past the school to reach Sunsaan. I only stayed one night, my schedule and budget didn't allow for more, but it was a pleasant respite between lots of travelling. I would absolutely recommend it for a longer stay for anyone travelling for pleasure.
