Comfort and Elegance: The centerpiece of your dome is a luxurious king-size bed adorned with plush linens and cozy blankets, ensuring a peaceful night's rest as you listen to the soothing sounds of nature outside. A stylish lounge chair offers a comfortable spot to unwind and enjoy the panoramic views. Bathrooms: While the bathrooms are not directly inside the dome, they are conveniently located just a short, scenic walk away from your private accommodation. Also, each home is equipped with curtains so that you can enjoy your stay flawlessly. We have curtains that allow you to enjoy the celestial display while maintaining your personal space and comfort.

The view is beautiful but the bathroom facilities are poor , out of 3 bathrooms , one door wouldn’t shut , if someone ran water in the other stall , it cut out the for water in the shower….and just to say when we were there it was not during season and there were only 2 other domes in use and I can’t imagine how 3 bathrooms can service 12 domes …also , if it were to rain , the bathroom is 30 yards away
Such a cool setting! With the curtains, you also have as much privacy as you want. April temperatures at night were initially cold; but the supplied heaters made it plenty warm. When the sun does come up it does get warm. Nights are epic with the view of the stars.
This place is clean and magical. So easy to checkin and use all amenities.

- Ægissíðufoss waterfall
Well-known fishing location on the river and has a salmon ladder. The waterfall is magnificent all year round, as the flow is quite steady throughout the year given that Ytri-Rangá is a spring-fed river. Any changes to its flow rate can for the most part be attributed to spring thaws.
A popular hiking trail lies from Hella down to Ægissíðufoss along the Ytri-Rangá River.
- Caves of Hella
Offers exciting guided tours of four mysterious man-made caves in Iceland. The caves are a historic landmark site where you will learn about hidden secrets and other untold stories from Iceland's history.
Open every day 9:30 am - 4 pm.
Summer guided tours:
- English every day at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00.
- Tours are in Icelandic on Saturdays at 14:00.
