Stunning rural location. Detached house sitting in own private grounds with pool & amazing tuscan views. Built on 2 levels, with a pretty outside area, BBQ, over 100 olive trees & own vineyards. 30 minutes from the sea. Great cycling. We love our home in Manciano & regularly use it. It is in an unspoilt area of southern Tuscany, called Maremma. Upstairs the house has an open plan living area with living room & sofa bed, & kitchen, plus 2 of the bedrooms & bathroom. There are terraces all the way round the house, which are lovely to eat out on. The house is set on a hillside, so that downstairs there is another bathroom, one double bedroom & a large room which also opens to the outdoors with 2-3 single beds. We usually use this as the children play area. The pool, which is set below the house, has amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. The grounds have over 100 olive trees & 2 vineyards plus multiple fruit trees. Outside there is a BBQ & seating areas.

La struttura rispecchia le foto e le descrizioni presenti sul sito, la villa è silenziosa, tranquilla e immersa nel verde della natura Toscana. La casa è attrezzata con il necessario per soggiorni lunghi o per famiglie. Da premiare la disponibilità e la gentilezza dell'host e del gardner. Sicuramente da consigliare nel periodo estivo, in cui si può sfruttare la piscina, il patio e il bellissimo giardino esterno.

We had a wonderful time in Mancianto thanks to Diana and her beautiful house. Thanks for having us! The house in reality is even more beatiful than the pictures might suggest. It was fantastic, great AirBnb and super nice Host!

The house was great, the pool aswell. We loved the donining area outside and the sit-group outside the kitchen. It was all better and more beautiful then expacted. The pool was big and the garden beautiful 🤩sleeping downstairs was cooler than upstairs. Manciano was nice, and the coast and other mountain villages are great to visit.

Diana´s house and ground are really great to stay there. There is a big house with a lot of space, a nice property with many places to be and the pool is the highlight. Near the city and not to busy we stayed on our own. Diana communicates very uncomplicated and prompt. Thank you.

The house is lovely with amazing views and a large garden. The pool is bigger than expected and nice & varm. We were there inJuly and it was very warm, but even without AC the house was ok since there are really big fans to use. The lower floor is nice and cool. Diana was super friendly and responded to any questions really quick. We can really recommend this place and Diana as host!

Manciano is not very touristy, but does have various restaurants & bars. It is called the 'eye' of Maremma (the southern area of tuscany) as from the top of the hill, there is a stunning view of the sea & the 3 bays. The island of Giglio is worth a visit. Inland Pitigliano, Sorana, Sovana are all very beautiful hilltop villages & worth visiting. Here you can explore the Etruscan archaeology. Saturnia is a natural spa with a pretty waterfall you can swim. At the sea, there are 3 sandbanks leading to the island of Monteargentario, the ports of Santo Stefano & Ercole are amazing. There is the only 'wild' undeveloped beach in Italy to the north, within the Maremma natural park close to Talamone.
Activities such as horse riding, canoeing, sailing, cycling, scuba diving are all possible in the region.

出行信息

The nearest airports are in Rome (1.5 hour drive), Pisa (2.5 hour drive). I recommend a car to move about easily & see the sights. There is very little public transport. Manciano village in on a hilltop, 15 minute uphill walk from the house and a couple of minutes by car.
