Place was as described. Very clean and organized. Accommodated all 8 of us well. Location is very remote from anything, but most residences in that area are remote. Plan on at least 30 min drive to any sightseeing. Great outdoor area - fire pit was awesome, hot tub was perfect, star gazing was amazing. Definitely a nice getaway spot for a small family.

Very cozy cabin at the top of a holler in a rural location. Owner’s rule are strict, 10 PM quiet time means 10pm quiet time. We were being very loud and obnoxious at 3 am, and the guys on the trip were peeing off the deck. The owner had been watching us on camera and called the police. We were being loud, but there is no actual noise ordinance. And for pissing off the deck, I thought that was a guy thing and wasn’t that big of a deal, but I was wrong. Will not be allowing my group to do that in the future stays. All the sound carries through the holler, so this is a lovely cabin if you will be going to be early. Small kitchen, but well stocked. Beds were extremely comfy with great linens, and the cabin was exceptionally clean. There are not towels for the hot tub so be sure to bring some. Fire pits were awesome and there is tons of wood on the property.

Overall, this was a great place for our group of 8. The renovations to this house were nicely done and the home has great rustic decor. The beds were exceptionally comfy and overall the cabin was clean. The only thing house specific to be aware of is noise travels very well in this house so the kids could easily hear the adults late night card games. With that said, there definitely could be some improvements. When we arrived the smoke detector and CO2 were beeping low battery. The hot tub had a white film in it that was likely white mold. We contacted the local rep and they took a while to respond and ultimately did not resolve either issue. They did send someone, but the person didn’t clean the hot tub or replace the batteries, then left the back door unlocked while we were out. The hot tub was a major reason we booked this cabin over another and the alarm issue was a safety issue so we’d want future renters to be aware.

Our family group included, five adults and three children in this cabin comfortably slept all of us. The bedrooms and bathrooms are really great very clean and comfortable probably the best part of our stay. As with most cabins, the sound does travel throughout. This is a great getaway cabin it is secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and highways. There are a couple other homes on the road they were not too noticeable, and it was a peaceful stay. It was a great spot for our family to meet up for the Thanksgiving holiday and enjoy family time. The working hot tub was a great amenity and the whole family enjoyed a soak or two. Internet speed was great and easily accommodated all our streaming devices. The kitchen was smaller, but easily handled all the cooking we needed to do during our day. All the appliances worked well. we did miss having a microwave to easily reheat leftovers, and it cold cup of coffee.
