we came for the solar eclipse and cannot imagine a more beautiful environment to have that experience. the zoobox was the most unique and thoughtfully designed space, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the surroundings were picturesque. pictures don’t do it justice. would definitely recommend!
The cabin has a spectacular view, great location, with trails accessible on foot from the cabin. You can bring down a bed from the ceiling into the main room and wake up to the sunrise over the mountain. The pull out bath right by the fireplace was also nice. Fireplace is propane, remote controlled. Pack light and bring a headlamp, as the cabin access is a 20min trail from the parking. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Une escapade inoubliable au chalet "Zoobox" ! Notre séjour a été tout simplement parfait. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été séduits par la propreté impeccable du chalet et l'attention portée aux détails. Tout était soigneusement rangé et tous les accessoires nécessaires étaient à notre disposition. Le cadre naturel du site est tout simplement magnifique, avec ses sentiers de randonnée pittoresques et son parc pour enfants. Nos enfants ont adoré jouer dans ce décor enchanteur. Le chalet lui-même était un vrai paradis pour les familles avec enfants. Le mur d'escalade, la roue de hamster géante et l'ambiance boisée ont contribué à rendre notre séjour vraiment spécial. En somme, notre expérience au chalet "Zoobox" a dépassé toutes nos attentes. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner pour vivre de nouveaux moments magiques. Merci au chalet "Zoobox" pour cette escapade mémorable !

Vertendre roads are unpaved. In winter months, roads are well maintained but please be weary of the slippery conditions! When driving, stay near the center of the road (to avoid slipping in the ditch) and slowly move over when crossing paths with another vehicle.
Trails are shared with pedestrians, bicycles, sleds, and furry friends so please remain vigilant. Trails are well indicated with signs but there is no lighting.
The Zoobox area is a no-vehicule acces zone (only Vertendre employees or special maintenance vehicules are allowed)
