Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This charming 1920's cottage has been updated with modern luxuries for comfort and ease, while having it's little quirks . On the edge of town, on a beautiful peaceful wide street, and overlooking a large horse paddock and to the hills beyond. Ironbark Cottage is an amazing place to get out of the mainstream for a break, or plenty of room to park the caravan and having a break from the road. Open, light-filled cottage, with beautiful rural views. Reverse cycle air conditioners for that comfortable temperature. Full-size kitchen and eating area to cook up meals and snacks. Back deck with huge 10 seater table and chairs, BBQ and amazing vistas. Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and a bath tub. Fully fenced with heaps of parking. Come and unwind, or stay while your working in our area.

Such a pretty and peaceful stay. Well worth the drive from the Gold Coast. (I was looking for somewhere to stay within range to give my son practice driving on country roads). The cottage is gorgeous throughout, better than in pics. We really appreciated the cute little touches Sharnie added for our Easter visit. Sitting on the verandah overlooking the landscape, watching horses graze in the distance as the sun is setting would fill anyone’s cup. Comfy beds, cooling in every room and the bathroom and shower are just divine, as is the modern kitchen, which has a great oven! The lawns were luxurious and the garden beds are all so pretty. My mini foxy loved being there also. It was really nice to be able to have our little girl with us also. I can’t think of anything you would change for this serene little getaway.
My husband and I stayed a few nights at Sharnie’s peaceful and charming home with our elderly blind dachshund. The home was welcoming and cozy, we loved the added touches of Easter eggs, snacks, drinks and cupboards stocked with essentials. It felt like she has literally thought of everything you would need while away from home. Sharnie is a fabulous host who has really thought about her guests needs. We loved laying on to trampoline at night while star gazing, and the sunrises and sunsets are dreamy! Sharnie is so kind and sweet, she checked in on us and her communication was excellent and responsive. She even offered to let our dog meet her cows (because our dog LOVES cows), but we ran out of time. We would highly recommend this home and Sharnie’s hospitality.
We loved our time at Sharnie’s place, we just wish we could stay longer. The view from the back deck is lovely, and it’s so peaceful. We appreciated the responsive communication and there were even some Easter treats left for us! The children loved the trampoline and toys. The cottage itself was beautiful and well organised, it had everything we needed. Thank you Sharnie!
Sharnie is a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble and she was very responsive always. We would definitely book again.

Our street is in a rural setting, and is very wide with plenty of room to walk and ride your bikes, while your enjoying the views. Ironbark Cottage is right on the edge of town, while still surrounded by beautiful homes. You are only a short drive or bike ride to the town centre, parks and town pool. You will see and hear alot of birdlife in your gardens and down the street. Your neighbours at the back are beautiful horses that enjoy a pat when they come up to the fence.
Plenty of off street parking available, and some part sheltered parking under shed awning.
Walking and biking is a great way to see the town of Millmerran. Although a small country town, it can still be a long way to the business centre, make sure you take plenty of water and have good shoes on.
