Claire was a very friendly and helpful host. The accommodation was immaculate. I appreciated the secure parking which is rare, I have found.

Ich musste meine Reisepläne spontan ändern und habe deshalb noch einmal Claires Zimmer gebucht. Wie bereits knapp 4 Wochen zuvor habe ich mich in der Unterkunft sehr wohl - fast wie zuhause - gefühlt 👍 Claire und ihr Mann waren wieder sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ganz klare Empfehlung für jeden auf der Suche nach einem gemütlichen Zimmer mit eigenem Bad in Christchurch.

Beautiful host, beautiful home, the whole sleeping space is perfect (comfortable bed + good bedding), the private bathroom outside the suite meets all my needs, there are bus stops directly to the city center, and there are 3 local supermarkets not far away (within 30 minutes walk). Thank you for letting me check in early.

A comfortable, quiet room that was practically like renting your own private studio! Equipped with everything essential, and more! I especially appreciated the complimentary tea, the kitchen utensils and appliances. It can be small but having these makes a huge difference when you want a hot meal or to make a hot drink! And to get your own living space with no need to share with others, at this price, is the best deal I've seen in ages. Some other honourable mentions: the privacy of being far off the road. The security of having a locked gate so I could leave my car unlocked and bike out. And Claire herself, who was the warmest and friendliest host I've meet in a while. Would give 6 stars if possible. Thanks Claire!
