We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean/comfy and it had a beautiful outlook onto the lake. We enjoyed being able to bring our pets and using the equipment eg kayaks, ping pong table. The main issue was that communication was very slow. e.g. check in info was only sent a few hours before check in when we had already starting travelling, and it took a few days to get a response when we had a minor issue (vacuum not working, no brooms/dustpan/mops). When the host did reply, they did sort these issues out for us. The only other issue was that due to heavy rains prior to our stay the backyard was partially flooded at the back fence by the lake. We understand that this is out of the host's control but it would have been nice to be informed prior, just to plan e.g. for not being able to leave the dogs outside unsupervised without them getting wet/muddy. Overall, a nice place and a comfortable stay. With improved communication it would be perfect.
