I know it’s a lot of information. Please read carefully to ensure our place is for you. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This place is our family vacation home. So it’s shared with us. We won’t be there while you are, but it’s fully equipped with our belongings. There are very few things you need to bring with you. We are in the heart of Mohican, but we are not right on the river. The river is a few minutes away. We are currently revamping an older camper. So it’s under construction. That’s why our price is lower than most places in this area. There’s unfinished yard work, floors, and painting. There’s a retaining wall that’s not very pretty, but it is entirely safe. We’ve had it inspected and let our children and grandchildren sleep in it. We can’t make it pretty until they fix our road leading up to the camper. Hopefully soon. We own two lots with plenty of outdoor space. The camper has a private bedroom with a queen bed. Under the bed are dressers. The shower is in the bedroom, but a curtain separates the area. We keep a separate bunkhouse bug-free with three twin beds- one bunk, one regular bed, and one trundle bed. It locks from the inside and has a padlock for the outside. There’s an empty cupboard in the bunkhouse. The restroom has a camper toilet. The more you are there, and the more people come, the more it needs to be drained. It can cause an odor after draining. So it has to be flushed after draining it. There’s a nice shower that my over 6-foot-tall family can stand in. And we have a decent hot water tank. Plus, we have city water that we filter through the whole camper. The kitchen has an ice maker, so there's no need to bring ice. And we drink the filtered water from the sink, so you don’t need to bring bottled water. We can help you access the river. However, you will need your raft or kayak and two vehicles to make it work. Rafting down the river is one of our favorite things to do there. So many unforgettable memories! If you are interested, please let me know, and we can discuss the details. We DO NOT provide a golf cart. Many folks rent them. You are welcome to rent one and have it delivered. But please observe the rules of the park. No children are allowed to drive, and you must have a license; you shouldn’t go faster than 10 miles an hour and must not drive in unauthorized areas marked with a sign. Dogs are great, but you must leash them in the public areas. You don’t need to leave the resort to have fun. There’s basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, a heated pool, an enclosed play yard for little ones, plus a playground for big kids. Our putt-putt golf course is being upgraded. I don’t recommend riding bikes in the resort unless you are skilled at riding. It’s hilly and rocky. ATVs and hunting are prohibited in the resort. The deer aren’t afraid; some will come to you if you have feed or birdseed for them. Please bring your towels, but we have plenty of stuff, like lotions, bug spray, a first aid kit, heartburn medicine, sugar, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more. If it’s there, make yourself at home with it. If you’re not sure, please ask me. You can have guests sleeping on the sofa and recliner. They are comfortable, but it does take from the inside space. We have ample outdoor space, but the inside isn’t as big. So you have to be okay with living in tight quarters with others. Littles will be able to sleep very comfortably in the living area. You can use the wood you find anywhere on the resort grounds. There’s plenty to be had. But you will want to bring something to help chop it up. We do have firewood, but not always. Help yourself to what is there, but plan on bringing some if you don’t want to deal with getting your own. Again, ask me before you come, and I’ll let you know.
