A: Very much so. 24 hours a day. Q: How far away are you from.... A: McCormick? 10-12 min walk The nearest Subway station? 5-6 min walk Soldier Field? 5 min uber Museum Campus? 7min uber Downtown? 8 min uber Q: PARKING? A: We have an optional parking spot for our renters for only $30/day Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens? A: Nope! We provide all these things. We also provide you with a starter pack of toilet papers, individually wrapped toothbrushes, individual toothpastes. Q: When can I check in or check out? A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 11am. Early check-ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either. Q: Can I come and go as I please? A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which this isn't the case. Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests? A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests. Note that pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses an algorithm to adjust it automatically. Q: Are the beds comfortable? A: Very. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on and asked us where we bought the mattresses from.

Overall the place is as good as advertised. The location is good, close to downtown (the Loop), museums, and the McCormick Place. The neighborhood is mostly deserted or empty at night, but is safe to walk around. The apartment is large in space. It doesn't feel crowded at all with two families in the living room. The pool table is a plus --- kids enjoy playing it whenever they could. (I had to put cardboard pieces underneath one foot to make it level, but not big deal.) The bathrooms are well decorated and clean. The beds are comfortable. Note that one of the shower facet has cold and hot water flipped, which took us a while to figure out. Much worse than the light-letting-through curtains, the windows do not seem to muffle any sound from street below. We got woken up from sleep two nights out of three by people shouting on the street at 2 or 3 am! One shouting conversation lasted 15 minutes, but there was nothing we can do about it. We simply hope windows are better sealed.
Host Studebecker was quick and responsive. Though we didn’t need anything after checking in I felt confident I could get a hold of them if need be. The unit entry was fairly difficult to enter at the main door. Due to lack of keyless entry the lock box provided was a little tricky to get the hang of. Entering the unit it was clean&open concept style which was nice. The bed rooms were nicely sized, but could use some curtains as anyone who wanted to sleep in was being blasted by the sun in the morning because it only had a small sheer curtain. The second bedroom door also gets stuck&swells after being closed so when it gets pulled open it makes the loudest noise waking up our guest who was sleeping on the couch. Diving deeper into the listing we had 5 beds but a group of 10. Some being singles so the couch needed to be used as a bed. The couches themselves were actually extremely comfortable but the unit did not have any extra blankets/pillows/towels. Overall a fine unit just not 5star

If you chose to stay with us You're only a 12 minute walk from McCormick Place and a 4 minute walk from the Green Line Subway stop which gets you virtually everywhere in the City. You are also a short walk to a number of restaurants and attractions. The South Loop is such a dynamic mix of attractions and histories that the neighborhood tends to be seen as many different things to many different people. Consider the assorted areas that comprise the South Loop: Much of its eastern edge is encompassed by the Museum Campus, an impressive collection of cultural treasures that includes the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium. This campus sits on scenic lakefront parklands that are an extension of Grant Park. With 319 acres of green space and recreational fields, Grant Park is known as "Chicago's front yard" to locals and also plays host to major city events such as Taste of Chicago, Chicago Blues Festival and Lollapalooza. Jutting out further into Lake Michigan is Northerly Island, a peninsula sought out by nature lovers, while along the southern edge the sports fans know Soldier Field as the stadium for the beloved Chicago Bears football team. Meeting attendees are most familiar with McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country, which is also in the immediate area. And yet there are even more facets to the South Loop. History buffs point out the Motor Row District along South Michigan Avenue and nearby Prairie Avenue District, the "Millionaire's Row" that was lined with mansions belonging to Chicago's most wealthy elite during the end of the 19th century. In the adjacent Printer's Row neighborhood, urban loft condos now fill the commercial spaces in what was formerly the center of the Midwest's publishing industry. Connections to this past are still seen within the venerable, independent book store and annual summer lit fest here. But business professionals and students have brought new life and redevelopment (though the vibe remains mellow), filling the restaurants, music clubs, smaller theaters and museums that have all established themselves in the community.
This apartment is conveniently located within walking distance from the McCormick Place and short drive to all tourist attractions including the Sears/Willis Tower, Magnificent Mile, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, Soldier Field stadium, famous Cloud(The Bean) Gate at Millenium Park. Get ready to experience the best of Chicago during your stay!
