Great stay, as usual! The rooms are basic but cleaned well and have all the essentials. Rooftop restaurant makes great food and the included breakfast is very convenient. Thanks again Remmy!

If you're planning to stay in Mbale you NEED to check-in to Remmy's airbnb! We stayed for a full week and felt incredibly cared for and the hospitality is top-notch. The rooms are located just steps away from a wonderful cafe with great food, that is also a social enterprise that supports surgery students at the local hospital. Wifi is strong enough for work and the environment is secure. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, but just a few minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of downtown. I plan to stay again on my next trip to Mbale.

Remmy was a very accommodating and proactive host. We loved our room and the community vibe of the Citizen Cafe and it’s staff. The cafe is located on the rooftop of the property and is a nice place to chill and hang out. Our accommodation was cosy and nicely furnished and staff were more than helpful. This place was great value for money and would highly recommend.

The accommodations at Citizen Cafe & Chambers were very unique for the area, and having stayed at other places in town I can confidently say that all of Remmy's units have been renovated and designed with a lot of attention to detail. The units are comfortable, spacious, and well organized. There is plenty of space to store clothes and belongings safely, the hot water for the shower works instantly and reliably, and the wifi is also great. On top of that, the rooftop cafe is very convenient with a variety of food and makes the stay feel more like home. Remmy is a great host and incredibly responsive, ready to help with anything I needed and willing to go out of his way to make my stay effortless. I look forward returning and staying with Remmy in the future!
