The home is privately positioned at the end of a shared driveway in Tanah Merah. There is parking in an adjacent car port with flat ramp access onto the verandah. The accommodation is at the top of a half acre property and the land slopes down to our house which is on the bottom half of the block. Behind us is Murrays reserve bushland. Home to a variety of birdlife and some local wallabies. The front verandah catches nice afternoon breezes. Lounge, TV room and main bedroom are air-conditioned We are centrally located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast theme parks being 27km either way. Zaraffas coffee is less than a 1km walk. The Hyperdome shopping centre is located on the opposite side of the freeway. It is about 2km to walk there. There is an outdoor dining precinct with many restaurants to choose from. It boasts a cinema, bowling alley and a library as well.

We really enjoyed our stay , feel like same stay at home . House is clean and nice bathroom, bed is comfortable.
Laura is an excellent host - very responsive and friendly, and the house is spacious and well appointed.
I really enjoyed staying at Laura's Place. It was quiet, peaceful and great location to the hyperdome and other amenities we needed. The house was clean and tidy and that feel of an old farmhouse with modern touches. Laura was very accommodating as i messed up my dates and she was willing to assist however i managed to find somewhere for the additional 2 nights i messed up on. No internet here but was able to use my own data.
Laura’s place was the perfect location for us to first arrive in Australia when immigrating. Being centrally located to a wide range of amenities for ALL ages, and Laura’s absolute care and generosity really made our entry to the country with a 2 year old as smooth as possible. We live on a hilly leafy street with mainly acreage properties. The property we are on was subdivided 5 years ago into 4 half acre blocks. We live on the last one giving a feeling of privacy. Our neighbours are quiet and respectful. Take a morning walk to Zaraafas for a coffee and enjoy the country Lane feel of Murray's Road.
There is a bus interchange 2 km away at the hyperdome shopping centre. The Loganlea train station is 6km away.
