Wauwatosa is a safe and friendly residential neighborhood directly west of downtown Milwaukee.
Located in a super walkable area of Tosa, within a few blocks you'll find multiple bars and breweries, a yoga studio, barber shop, restaurants and cafes - including pizza, burgers, tacos, Chinese, Hawaiian, Greek, Italian, and more. Feel free to ask us for recs!
Some of our personal favorites include fresh donuts at Cranky Al's, divine pastries from Rocket Baby Bakery, homemade pasta at Ca'Lucchenzo, Buckatabon for a modern twist on the classic Wisconsin supper club experience, coffee at Anodyne or Vendetta, local beer at Fermentorium and Gathering Place Brewing, and cocktails at Camp Bar or Wauwatiki.
In the charming Village of Wauwatosa, you'll find even more restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, and parks along the river. Popular picks include Ristorante Bartolotta (named one of the top 50 restaurants in the US), Le Reve Patisserie, Buckatabon, Cafe Hollander, and Lucky Joe's cocktail bar. In the summer months, stop by the farmer's market along the river, catch live music in the park at Tosa Tonight, or hit the beer garden at Hoyt Park.

TRANSPORTATION
It's a 4-min drive / 20-min walk into the Village of Wauwatosa, 5-min drive to Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College, a quick 12-min drive to downtown Milwaukee (including Fiserv Forum, the lakefront, Summerfest grounds, art museum, etc), 7-min drive to the AmFam baseball stadium, and a 20-min drive to the airport.
Uber/Lyft is readily available at all hours. For public transportation, there are multiple bus stops located half a block away on North Ave, and in the warmer months there are Bublr bikes and electric scooters available to rent. Some nearby bars may also run shuttles to the stadiums on game days.
PARKING
There is free street parking around the house, and if you need to park overnight please call in to the non-emergency police line for permission and give your car details to avoid a ticket.
