I've stayed at AirBnbs around the world (brag) and I will say that this might be my all time favorite. If you live in a big city and have never camped, you must add this place to your bucket list and do it ASAP!!!! Stars, howling coyotes, rock roads, fire, blissful walks, peace and so much more. I've heard of a super host but Lily was a super duper host as she was in constant contact and provided sooooooo much extra. I usually end my review with All good but this time ALL FREAKEN GREAT......
If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, very private, and cozy glamping experience I would recommend this beautiful space. Great amenities, just about everything you need is provided already. That was such a great touch. Rustic enough to enjoy the bird calls. The host is extremely accommodating and kind. We would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.
We had a wonderful time! My wife 6 yo son and I were driving from TX to MN for the holidays and found Lily's listing kind of last minute. She was very reaponsive and more than accommodating with a short request/turnaround time (about 2 hrs). When we arrived, everything was set up and ready for us, which was nice since we arrived after dark. The yurt was beautiful and nicely stocked with supplies. The propane heater and wood stove got it warmed up nicely fairly quickly. Beds were warm and had plenty of blankets for the low temps. We heard lots of wildlife and livestock at night: coyotes, owls, donkeys, cows, dogs, roosters. really cool! The breakfast baskest (a December bonus!) was more than enough for breakfast and was a wonderful was to cap off our stay. My only wish was that we would have arrived earlier (during daylight) and been able to stay at least 1 more day. nice extras that were available: Solar lights, popcorn and popper, portable phone charger and grill.
What an AMAZING place! Everything was clean our host Lily was amazing and we had such a great time! The breakfast was just perfect and I will definitely be a returning guest!
This place may feel out in the middle of nowhere, which makes it quiet and peaceful. You will be driving graveled road for about 15 minutes or so from the highway. We do have neighbors, but they are few and far between. The road is quiet, we occasionally see someone pass by, but it's not busy at all.
Located out in the country about 9 miles West of Pattonsburg, 25 miles to Bethany, 33 miles from the historic Adam-Ondi -Oman site. 35 minutes to Gallatin and 45 minute drive to the Amish town of Jamesport.
Message me for directions to get to our place, and I can send you a drop pin. G Maps sends everyone the navigation with more gravel roads. Contact me and I will help you navigate the best route.
