I stayed at Asma's place for a month and it was pretty nice. I didn't have any issues with mice or bugs, so I'm not sure what was happening with the last reviewer's experience. It was a safe, quiet area. Everything was functional and clean. Asma was friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was the noise upstairs, since this is a basement guest suite. Sometimes people spoke quite loudly, or were running across the floor. I think it's a decent, affordable place in an area that is known for being ridiculously expensive.
This place has a mice infestation. I had to cut my stay early due to mice being present throughout the unit (inside the walls and inside my room). Since I planned to stay for long-term, I gave the hosts time for pest control to eliminate the mice. I immediately notified Asma the very first night. However, the day that broke me was when I saw 3 different sized mice running throughout the unit and crawling on my personal items. The following morning consisted of a mouse being at the foot of my bed, as I heard its loud feet walking. Yes, I’m not exaggerating. These hosts should not be creating an unsafe and unsanitary living condition. I’m surprised the other guests did not report these issues before me. Unless you really enjoy living among rodents, please be extremely cautious when selecting this unit. Asma was very approachable about my issues, but Zaka was very rude to me and even accused me of being the main cause for the mice infestation. I will no longer use Air BnB services.
Asma and zaka were wonderful hosts. They are very responsive. The place is very peaceful and private. The place is as described in the profile. The hosts are extremely helpful even when I had to leave the place late due to extreme harsh weather.
great little place that is in walking distance of everything you need, in a nice safe neighborhood. I got a great night's sleep here
