House was beautiful and enjoyed our stay here during the weekend. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay and aesthetically pleasing. loved how each room had its own different vibe.
Mt. Washington is a really special neighborhood. It has lots of green space, hidden stairways, canyons, and wildlife. The hills are perfect for vigorous walks.
One of our favorite routes to the summit (by foot or by car) is up Mt. Washington Drive, which is a winding old road with very few houses.
At the top of Mt. Washington, you'll find the Self-Realization Fellowship's headquarters housed in the former Mt. Washington Hotel, which opened in 1909. Its manicured meditation gardens are open to the public for quiet reflection.
Mt. Washington Elementary School is also perched at the top of the hill, and you can explore nearby Elyria Canyon and Moon Canyon.
The Carlin G. Smith Recreation Center is a fun destination for families. It includes a basketball court, tire swing, and two-level playground.
If you're taking public transit, the Southwest Museum Station of the Metro A Line (formerly called the Gold Line) is very convenient.
If you’re driving, Mt. Washington is right off the 110 Freeway, which provides quick access to Highland Park and Pasadena to the north and downtown LA (and beyond) to the south. There is plenty of street parking.
Uber and Lyft are also great options for getting around.
