The place was beautiful and comfortable with a great view as well. Just know that although the pictures show 2 kayaks available, that is not the case. Only disappointment was that. We were looking forward to that. Even the welcome instructions in the house said there were two kayaks to use but that was not the case

Had a great staycation! The place was clean and location was a wonderful getaway. I biked from the ferry and it was an enjoyable adventure. Easy to find with the host instructions. Most amenities listed were provided. If you are a coffee drinker, I would recommend bringing your own ground coffee or k-cups. If you would like to use any of the indoor fireplaces, firewood was not provided. Lastly, I personally booked this place due to kayaks being listed as amenities. The one kayak that was available was filled with water (it had rained the day before our arrival) and was not usable for my short trip. The outdoor furniture was also wet due to the weather prior to our stay. Even with the few minor issues, which were mainly weather related, I would highly recommend staying here and I am looking forward to renting out the space again.

I am conflicted while writing this review. Views are gorgeous and the kitchen, main floor and upstairs bedroom and bath are very nice and livable. Downstairs bed and bath less so. Dehumidifiers ran the entire time and I had to use the portable heat unit downstairs. There were some strong smells when we arrived, smelled musty and caused some sneezing and headaches. The fireplace already had a partially burned log and lots of ash and cracked glass doors so the $30 we spend on firewood was wasted. Driving to the rental and parking was challenging and you have about 1.5 feet between your car and the edge of the driveway that is on the sound- it took an 11 point turn and backing in to get parked. The homes next door to the left are abandoned and one was burned through arson many years ago and is boarded up. The new next door neighbor on the other side was super nice and helped us park our car. I liked it when on the main floor but otherwise it was not what I expected for the price point.

We are still waiting for Vacassa to respond to us. ( now 5 days!) We checked in Friday afternoon around 4:00 AND LEFT AFTER AFTER ONE HOUR IN THE MOLDY HELL HOLE. The place reeked of mold and the smoke alarms were incessantly going off. We could not stop them. we called for help. The local vacassa people don't answer the phone so the 800 number folks said they were relaying the message to the local Vacassa team in Washington State. No one ever from there has yet to contact us back. After about an hour we left and had to stay in a Quality Inn! horrible but seemed like a dream compared to the Vacassa rental. We have asked for a refund and we were waiting to hear back from them. If they don't give us a refund. we are going to explode all over social media because this is unbelievable

Beautiful spot right on the water! They also have a kayak for guests to use. We loved sitting on the deck basking in the sun. Also, hearing waves lap against the beach when falling asleep is so relaxing!
