This property has completely false advertising, do not book. This is not a lake and there is NO waterfront access, no beach to walk on. No Trespassing signs in backyard make the yard about 25ft wide again with no access to the water. I have called Vacasa three times and I am still waiting for response. Unacceptable.

I thought this was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. Photos seemed nice, clean and inviting. Our experience, not so much. The floors were filthy with hair/dust/dirt. We ended up cleaning ourselves, no one came to clean as the host said they were working on it and would notify us. Never did. It lists a king bed/queen bed. The “king bed” were two twin beds. The bedding/pillows had hair and dirt. Gross. Dust/hair underneath the beds. Mold in the shower/dirt on the floor. Rubbish not taken out. The host did not implement high cleanliness and maintenance values as stated in the listing. It lists Lakefront cabin. We were mislead to think we’d be able to use the beach front area. On the refrigerator there is a printed list of guideline notes for the stay. Says no water or beach access on site. The stairs are off limits. That info was not stated in the listing. If we had known that prior, we would’ve booked elsewhere. The most enjoyable part was the trees and the sounds of nature.

Loved all of the available board games and nerdy art. It’s very peaceful. Gets really dark at night.

I know how important reviews are and I’d love to get them a good review but I can’t. I even reached out and gave them an opportunity to remedy the issue. From the moment I walked in there was a noticeable unpleasant smell. I found multiple dead bugs on the floor. The bathroom also was not very clean. I asked them if they could send someone to clean. They did refund the cleaning fee but that still doesn’t make up for the fact I had to stay in a dirty home for 3 nights. Also, the heating system was very confusing. I asked for instructions and they were not able to provide them. I think the place has a lot of potential with a better cleaning crew and much better communication with management. Also, if you plan to go down by the water, you have to climb a steep hill and use a ladder. Pretty view but water is not accessible.
