We just wrapped up a beautiful girls weekend at ‘Joyful’ and it was the perfect setting and surpassed our expectations. The host was super responsive and accommodating, and even had a lovely basket of treats upon our arrival. The house is beautifully appointed, spacious and clean! We all had wonderful sleeping accommodations, and all the amenities and then some. We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend!
We were 4 ladies who stayed as part of a weekend enjoying the local wineries and breweries. The house was perfect, even bigger than what the pictures depicted. The house was also spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We really appreciated that each bedroom had a different type of mattress, accommodating our different firmness preferences. Alex had also left us a basket of treats as a welcome gift that was such a nice touch. The house is in a very new neighborhood so her detailed instructions on how to get there were perfect because the GPS doesn’t pick it up yet. Because it is in a very new neighborhood we also found it extremely quiet - perfect for a good sleep. The neighborhood is also very walkable and we learned that the new road going in is also walkable and connects you with a Starbucks within a 5 minute walk- bonus! We highly recommend staying at Alex’s house and will definitely book again next time we are back in the county.
Joyful was a wonderful host and there rental house is stunning. We had 5 men staying there for a construction project and the house was spacious, all new appliances and just perfect, as long as we are welcome I will stay there every year when we are in Picton for construction projects
Alex was truly amazing, we came to the county because of a death in the family and Alex made our experience truly peaceful. Alex was always attentive and responded to any questions very quickly. We can’t thank Alex enough for being such an incredible host. We would and will recommend this beautiful home to friends and family. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay with an attentive host, look no further.
This is my second stay here and like last time everything was great again. A new, clean and very convenient house. The host was very attentive and did everything he could to make us comfort
