奥克港 · 整套民居 · 3室3床2.0卫 · 可住6人 · Incredible 3BR Oceanview Whidbey Island
Orca House on Dugualla Bay This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Oak Harbor is everything you're looking for in a Whidbey Island escape, offering an iconic Pacific Northwest setting with spectacular, unobstructed views of Dugualla Bay and the snow-capped peak of Mt. Baker. The windows strategically placed throughout the house allow you to take in a commanding view of the water whether you're laying in bed, reclining on the sofas in the living room, preparing dinner in the open kitchen, or soaking in the master bathroom's jetted bathtub at the end of the day. The living space is open and full of sunlight, with an airy great room that brings together the living room, the kitchen, and the dining room. Use stainless steel appliances to whip up stacks of pancakes each morning, sit down to eat at the spacious table or the breakfast bar, and bring your coffee outside to the deck to breathe in the fresh ocean air. You'll be able to walk to the community beach to collect stones and watch for local otters, with a gas grill and a dining set waiting outside on the deck for your return. Toss the day's clothes in the washer/dryer and settle in in the living room to read, watch a movie, or peer through the telescope in search of passing orcas. At night, you'll have your choice of three bedrooms, including a master suite with its own gas fireplace, sliding doors that lead outside to the deck, and a bathroom with both a shower and a jetted tub with a view of the water. Two more bedrooms have a queen-size bed and a double bed, respectively, with a second full bathroom off the hallway. What's nearby: This home sits just above the shores of Dugualla Bay, a short distance off Route 20 on the east side of Whidbey Island. You'll be immediately north of Dugualla State Park, which includes a handful of hiking trails that meander along the shoreline and through alder groves and wetlands, and six miles southeast of Deception Pass State Park, perhaps the crown jewel of the Washington state park system with its iconic bridge and gorgeous trails and beaches. The bustling center of downtown Oak Harbor, where you can find everything from groceries to fantastic bagels at Whidbey Island Bagel Factory, is six miles southwest, while Naval Air Station Whidbey Island is only four miles west. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. It was a very nice spacious house and well laid out. The house was near Deception Pass where we had our race, so that was nice. The view was very nice, just like in the pictures. Bring your own Keurig and coffee, maybe even coffee filter as it was not provided. It was comfortable.
We’re locals from across the bay. My teenage granddaughters and I love Whidbey Island. We stayed at the Orcas house for just a couple of nights. Exploring the house, there are many unexpected touches, like art from local artists, very tastefully displayed. This AirBnb is located on a hill in a pleasantly quiet neighborhood close to Skagit Bay, looking East at La Conner on the mainland. The views of the bay from all 3 bedroom windows are outstanding - peaceful scenery day and night. You might see the snow capped Northern Cascades, especially beautiful at sunset. Oak Harbor and Coupeville with many dining options and stores are just a few miles down the road. You don’t get these kinds of terrific views in local restaurants, so we enjoyed local cuisine as take-out. (Our faves are Seabolt in Oak Harbor and Gordon’s in Coupeville). Of course, if you’re so inclined there’s a large kitchen at your disposal. Vacasa WA was easy to reach to answer questions. Thank you!
Beautiful home with a amazing view. Great location and very quiet. Lots of space to accommodate many people or a family gathering. Very well stocked kitchen with amenities. Would recommend getting some new non stick pans and maybe a smaller one. And one again amazing view.
