Stylish modern semi-detached house on a quiet residential street. Makes a perfect base for work or leisure trips. Brilliantly located, just a mile from M1 J26 near Ikea retail park. Fantastic transport links to Nottingham by main dual carriageway and short drive to tram hub. Easy access to city centre, Nottingham Arena, Nottingham University, Tennis Centre, Hockey Centre, Wollaton Park Just as easy is access to the derbyshire countryside and the Peak District National Park. Not for parties This versatile space has 2 large and comfortable open-plan living areas one with a sofa and 54” Smart TV, a dining space, and a modern stylish well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. The other has comfortable sofa and armchair and is joined to main living area. The sitting areas are divided by a cosy wood burning stove. Large bifold doors can be opened to create a gorgeous inside/outside space. Guests have full use of the garden. There is a log burner in the living room. This is for your enjoyment but please be vigilant of potential dangers. Fire guards are supplied. Your comfort is key. All beds have crisp white Egyptian cotton bedding and towels to ensure your stay is as good as can be. The whole property is immaculately presented. The property has high-speed broadband and Virgin TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and has kettle toaster and microwave. The bedrooms are all doubles. In 2 the beds can be separated for 2 sharers or put together for a couple. The third bedroom has double bed. There is a spacious shared family bathroom on the first floor with a guest toilet on the ground floor. For young children, there is a travel cot, a removable stair gate (in the kitchen), and a high chair (please ask us to put this in the house for you). There are fire guards if using the log burning stove. Please note all these are to be used at the guest's discretion.
Pretty much a perfect Airbnb experience. Slight issue found just after arrival but this was communicated with the owner and did not in any really affect our stay. We will be back of that I am sure.
My dad, who's in his 80s, and I had our second stay at Jo's place. It is really clean and comfortable, as well as being in an excellent spot for visiting family and days out. The downstairs loo is a godsend.

This is a really peaceful suburban street. The property is located just a few hundred meters from the Ikea retail park and J26 of M1 motorway with main roads to Nottingham and to the derbyshire Peak District.
Cafes and restaurants at the Ikea retail park include Starbucks, pizza express, M&S, and many more.
This is DH Lawrence country so the local villages of Eastwood and Kimberly are steeped in history. The local bennerley viaduct evokes the Victorian era with its railways. Now a lovely walk with stunning views of the Erewash valley. Also nearby is the world Heritage Site of the Derwent Valley Mills another area steeped in history of the Victorian era and the start of the Inducstrial revolution.
Nottingham is within 15 minutes by car with the Nottingham Arena for events, the National Watersports centre, Wollaton Park and the restored Nottingham Castle. Nottingham is known for its night life and shopping and also nearby are outlet retail parks at J28 of the M1 and Fosse Park at J21.
The A610 dual carriageway just a stonesthrow away gives easy access west to the Peak District and east to Nottingham city.
The house has parking for 2 cars on the drive.
Close to the M1 J26
Just off the A610 to access Nottingham City and the Derbyshire Peak District.
Local Bus Services give access to both Derbyshire and Nottingham and also link to the Nottingham tram hub at Phoenix park with excellent parking.
