Nested on 5 wooded acres, this house offers a beautiful setting without close neighbors, but not without comfort and amenities. We pride ourselves in providing comfortable beds, fully stacked kitchens, and everything that guests need to feel fully at home, even if it is for a short vacation! This house is also located only 5 min from downtown Wausaukee, and many other outdoor activities

Love this little cabin in the woods!
Stayed during the fall with my family and it was absolutely beautiful! Jess and her family were extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend this cabin!

Where to begin! Justin and Jessica are absolutely amazing people. From start to finish they were available and the property had everything we could ever need and then some. Home looked as if it were just built and property pristine. Kitchen was beautiful and was a great touch. Decorations were tastefully done and we hope that the pair will welcome us back in the future as we'd love to stay again.

This house is located on a quiet dead end road, in the middle of the forest. If you like a countryside setting, this is it. There is a little trail in the wood for some walks. The proximity roads are not very busy either, perfect for bike rides or longer walks.
This house is also located only 5 min from downtown Wausaukee where you will find shops and restaurants. It is also very close to multiple outdoor activities:
- Long Lake
If you bring your own boat or Kayaks, Long Lake has a public boat launch and is located only 5 minutes from the house.
- Dave’s fall (about 10min drive)
This park includes upper and lower falls with unique rock formations. Plenty of paths, rocks, and nature to climb through during your visit. This park offers a playground, picnic area and hand pump water.
-12 Foot falls park is about 15-20 min drive
Beautiful park with 3 waterfalls, 8ft, 12ft and 18ft falls.
For nice sandy beaches:
• Little Newton Lake Beach: About 20 min away, this lake is very pretty and has a beautiful sandy beach
• Boat Landing 9 on Caldron Falls reservoir: About 25min away, this is a very nice spot to go swimming. There are also a lot of other things to do in that area (see below)
• Twin Bridge Park: About 30min away. There are also cliffs from where you can jump in the water.
• Lake Noquebay Beach : About 15min away. This beach is sandy.
- Governor Thompson State Park and the Peshtigo River State Forest surrounding High Falls & Caldron Falls Flowages
You will find various hiking trails, water falls, and the sandy beach on Boat landing 9. Boat landing 12 is also very pretty. You can tube down from Kozir’s restaurant and Boat landing 12 if you bring your own tube and park at both location.
- Whitewater Rafting
Kosir’s Rafting and offers guided trips on the Peshtigo River and the Menominee River from early April through Labor Day weekend.
- Wildman Adventure Resort is your one stop for adventure! With 30+ years of experience in the industry, offering 9 different activities.
- Wausaukee Bowl: Bowling alley located in downtown Wausaukee where you will find good bar food.
- Iron Mountain Mine tours: About 30 min away, you can visit mines.
- Lake Noquebay: Full recreation lake, 1300 acres. Lake Noquebay Park (12 acres) provides a swimming beach, playground next to lodge, boat landing, lake fishing, pontoon boat rentals, ect…
