The host was great and friendly and responsive!! I do NOT want to take away from his hospitality. However,I feel the set up was either rushed or it’s to “their comfort”. Upon arrival the place is “tidy up” clean. Once settling in,I had to clean the bathroom. I am anal about bathrooms,there was dry pee around the bottom of the toilet and behind it. I cleaned the toilet and tub. The room set up was cool,bed is doable but def is a noise maker. There was a fridge I could use but upon examination,I wouldn’t. The fridge was extremely dirty,it looked like molded dates/grapes in a ziploc bag.I wouldn’t offer that to a guess. And there is no microwave to reheat food. The BIGGEST issue for me is I’m anemic,I stayed for 5 days each day was under 50 degrees;the room is in a basement,with no thermostat separated. I had to message him 2 nights in a row to adjust the temperature. He was more than happy to do so. Entry is not good on rainy days and females traveling alone(safe but skep)

Mohammad’s place was excellent. Great value for the price. Mohammad was very responsive and gave great instructions regarding check in. I would absolutely stay again and recommend this place. Also of note, the listing totally undersells this place you have the basement fully to yourself with a private entrance. It comes with a living room, bathroom, and bedroom. The listing also says the bedroom door does not have a lock, but it totally does. Also even though it was a basement it was very very cozy and warm when we were there.

Mohammad was one of the best hosts we have ever had, He really cares about the people who stay with him. If you need anything he is there immediately. The neighborhood is beautiful and very peaceful. The house is near anything you may need. Whole Foods. Trader Joe’s, Libraries, and so much more. Washington.D C is easy to get to. I highly recommend Mohammed house to any traveler.
