明尼阿波利斯 · 整套民居 · 3室4床2.0卫 · 可住8人 · NE MPLS Clean, Comfy, Artsy House
Comfortable, two story, three bedroom, two full bathroom arts-loving home in the NE Minneapolis Arts district with two car garage. Holland is a Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood near many restaurants and bars, the Mississippi River, and arts studios. Stay in a neighborhood close to downtown to get the best of both worlds! Easy 10-12 minute drive/ride share to Downtown which includes: US Bank Stadium, Target Center, Target Field, First Avenue, 7th St Entry, and Minneapolis Convention Center. This home was built in 1889 and is one of the oldest homes on the block. It was most recently updated in 2014 with new heating, electrical, plumbing and windows. This home is located within walking distance of a great selections of bars and restaurants. Walk to Hai Hai (3 blocks), Grumpy's (2 blocks), Jax Cafe (4 blocks), Crepe & Spoon (2 blocks), Marty's Deli (4 blocks), Carma Coffee (3 Blocks), a liquor store (2 blocks), and a small grocery store/ deli (3 blocks). Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, pyrex baking dishes, blender, instant pot, juicer, ice cream maker, crockpot, electric hand mixer, waffle maker, tortilla press, and many mixing bowls, serving bowls, cake stand, measuring cups, knives, cutting boards, plates, electric kettle, french press, toaster, microwave, mugs, cups, fancy glasses and normal glasses. The first floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath with tub/shower, toilet with bidet attachment, and washer/dryer in the back behind the kitchen. The dining room table has wings that can lift up to add seating. There is a bench and 2 extra chairs so the dining room table can seat 6 in a modge-podge way. The second floor has three bedrooms (king, queen and full beds), a full bath with tub/shower combo, and toilet has bidet attachment. The beds are all memory foam platform beds. The king bed doesn't have a dedicated king size blanket so I use two queen size blankets (European style!) and there are extra blankets in all of the bedroom closets. I worry about people being too cold. If you are a "cold baby" like me and need more blankets, let me know! There is a 2 car garage with opener and behind the garage is a garden and some green space, enough to hang out and have a fire in the outdoor stove with the fam.
We were in Minneapolis for my son’s wedding and this was the perfect house and location for us. We appreciated having 2 bathrooms and a fenced yard for our dogs. The house was warm and comfortable and even provided yoga props.
A lovely place to stay in MPLS. I would highly recommend, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
We've stayed at Susannah's Airbnb several times. It's our first choice, and Susannah is a great host.
Susannah was incredibly proactive and friendly. Her place was exactly what we needed for a comfortable quick weekend stay in Minneapolis. Would absolutely stay here again if we're ever in the area.
We enjoyed our stay at Susannah’s fun, bright and cozy home. There were four of us and we had plenty of room. Parking on the driveway was very convenient and there was more than enough room for our cars (and then some). We walked a couple blocks to Grumpy’s for a drink and the name of the bar was deceiving—we were very welcomed and enjoyed our drinks. We’ll be back! We also walked to Hai Hai, one of our favorite restaurants. The location of the home was perfect to hit some of our favorites. We walked to Carma Coffee for breakfast and lattes. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and peaceful. And, it’s just a quick drive downtown and to some of our other favorite spots in Minneapolis. The house was clean, quiet, sunny and filled filled with art, plants and vintage dishes and glassware. It’s a fun place and we’d come back!
You'll be in the Holland neighborhood in the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts & Brew District and just ONE BLOCK east of the famous iconic dive, Grumpy's NE, award-winning Hai Hai - a Southeast Asian street food restaurant and craft cocktail bar, a small convenience store and a liquor store.
From here you won't forget you're in this city's Arts District- recently voted the #1 District in the USA by the readers of USAToday - just a stone's throw away from a vast number of artist studios and "art buildings", art galleries and performance spaces embedded in a truly unique neighborhood distinguished by quaint homes and family-run businesses, rail yards and industry, unique bars, breweries, and diverse restaurants. Many of the area's old industrial buildings have been re-purposed as working spaces for over 400 artists who host a variety of public events. Don't worry; this renaissance still embraces the old historic charm that makes Northeast a one-of-a-kind place to work, live and visit. And our night scene provides something for everyone, ranging from hole-in-the-wall to high-gloss, with music from punk to polka.
There are two bus lines that go directly to downtown, Route 11 and Route 17, and both stops are three short blocks away in opposite directions. Metro Transit has a website with a trip planner and I use METRO Transit Trip-Planner Maps to plan my transit trips as well. Ubers and Lyfts are really easy/quick to get here any time of day or night because of being so close to downtown and all of the NE Minneapolis activity.

I like to travel and love meeting travelers. I am originally from St. Paul but moved to Minneapolis while attending the University of Minnesota and have never moved back! I have lived in Wisconsin, Germany, Australia and Papua New Guinea. I have travelled to Morocco, Mexico, Cuba, Canada, Italy, Croatia, France, Thailand and China. I am a tidy guest and care about the impression I make. As a host, I hope your stay will be comfortable and you will enjoy what the Twin Cities has to offer! I like anything creative and colorful. I have a houseboat and make jewelry in my spare time:) I am a Realtor so if you are interested in buying in MN, I can send you in the right direction!
