Pacific Pine Walk to the majestic ocean beach and Pacific Pines State Park from this comfortable, two-bedroom home in Ocean Park, where the very best of the Long Beach Peninsula waits at your fingertips. This home sits half a mile from public beach access on 280th Street and three-quarters of a mile from Pacific Pines, a 10-acre expanse that's ideal for birding, fishing, shellfish hunting, and watching the sunset. Leadbetter Point State Park is to the north while Cape Disappointment, Long Beach, and Ilwaco are south, with scenic stretches of ocean coast along the way. After a day spent beachcombing or golfing, you'll be greeted back at home by a grassy yard, a covered patio with a gas grill, and an outdoor firepit where you can gather for tales of the day's adventures. The interior is open and sunny, beginning with a living room that features a gas fireplace and a cable TV with streaming capability. The living room opens to an airy kitchen, a breakfast bar, and an eat-in dining table. Of the two bedrooms, each has its own smart TV as well. <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> 3 dog(s) are welcome in this home. Nice yards for dogs. Did have to clean up some dog poop that was not my dogs. Overall nice stay.
Beautiful place and great location for clam digging. We were so impressed by the decor and cleanliness. Fenced backyard was HUGE bonus! One queen bed and one full bed.. was definitely not as comfortable for the second couple in the full bed and for that reason may not stay here again with more than 3 people.. if they upgrade to another queen then we will absolutely be back! :)
Had a great time, enjoyed the layout of the home and the fenced yard was a plus!
Giving a negative review for several reasons, but first the positive: This is a cute house with plenty of room for a small family. It has lots if parking, including a large carport, plus descent outdoor patio. It is also in a quiet neighborhood. The bad: The bathroom was dirty, including dried urine on floor and toilet. In the kitchen we found dirty dishes in the cupboard and drawers. The beds are uncomfortable and hard. There was pet hair on all the extra blankets that were put in a drawer. Of course we probably wouldn't have needed the blankets except for fireplace in the living room was not working. it's the only heat source in that room. I contacted Vacassa our first night there by phone and email. We never got a response. The toilet in the bathroom is ridiculous. It doesn't flush correctly and you have to frequently open the tank to flush. Last. the fenced in yard is more of a dog run and the fire pit is not in a fenced area, so our dogs couldn't be with us there.
This little home is conducive to an eventful visit to the peninsula. Located just north of Ocean Park, it's an easy drive to Oysterville, Long Beach, and Ledbetter Park. The home was very clean and tidy, lots of linens and kitchenware.... all you need for a relaxing time at the beach. The washer/dryer is nice to have and the hosts even provide laundry soap, should you forget yours! We had a wonderful stay at this sweet little home.
