Excellent location that included an easy walk to the ski hill and convenient parking underground. The check in process was easy and available before the check in time. The townhome was spotless and was cozy with nice views of wooded areas outside.
Oliver's place is as described and he was a responsive and friendly host. The space is very comfortable, and some parts have been renovated.
Very nice apartment with a large living area. However the living room could use a love seat beside the wall adjacent to the fireplace in order to seat 6-7 people comfortably. In addition two small chairs would be appreciated on the deck of the master bedroom. All in all Oliver was friendly, courteous and helpful. We appreciated the pet friendly apartment and had a great time ! We’ll be back !
Upper Village has a market in the Intrawest building beside Chateau Whistler and the liquor store is in Glacier Lodge, on the other side of the Chateau Whistler cul-de-sac.
Grocery and Liquor stores as well as post office and other services can be found at Marketplace - off Lorimer Rd in Whistler Village.
Blackcomb lifts are right beside Chateau Whistler, Milestones Restaurant and Merlins Pub, as well as ski school, ski rentals and Whistler/Blackcomb services.
Portabello restaraunt in the Chateau is a great place for breakfast and coffee before heading out. The Chateau also has an excellent restaurant for fine dining and a lounge that often offers live music. Also check out the fun kids activities in the Chateau.
In the summer, Blackcomb village has a kids play area (bouncy castle, etc). Sunday mornings also offers a street market.
Summer activities include: hiking, walking (Lost Lake park), beaches and lakes (if you get tired of the pool), mountain biking, or biking or in -line skating along the paved paths.
