Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in our cosy tent. Lakeside position with steps down to your own fishing swim. Large grassy area to the side of the tent for picnics etc or even bring another tent (£25 surcharge per night payable locally). The tent features a comfy double bed with duvet, pillows and towels supplied. There are also 2 single futons -please bring bedding for these. There is a fire pit, outdoor furniture, and campers kitchen with pot, pans, cutlery, & crockery. Set in 12 acres of Kent countryside, this tent is within the fenced off area of the fishing lake and has direct access to the lake. The main field has 6 resident alpacas who are particularly fond of chopped carrots! Ponies and sheep are in the adjacent fields. Mains toilets and a shower are a short stroll from the tents. As is a bespoke kitchen trailer with a communal fridge, freezer, sink, kettle, toaster and microwave. The historic town of Tenterden is 3 miles distance with pubs, bars, restaurants and shops. Plus Tesco and Waitrose. Rye is a 20 min drive and similar to Camber Sands famous beach. Also in the area are steam trains, zoos (Rare Breeds Centre highly recommended for younger visitors), beaches, walks, National Trust properties and so on. A short walk is Gibbet Oak Farm Shop for all your needs and their cider taproom (Nightingales) is generally open Fridays and Saturdays over the summer - please check opening times.
