Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space located on the beach side of Suffolk park just a few streets back from the beach, and only a short stroll down to the Suffolk shops. You can find most things that you need just down at the shops, including a great bakery, grocery store, local pub and also a Vietnamese, Indian or Italian restaurant. Heading into Byron for more adventure is only a 10 minute drive away so you are conveniently located for ease of getting around. A beach side bungalow with beautiful wooden flooring throughout and a pitched wooden roof that give the property a lovely spacious atmosphere. The living room lead off the property to a garden oasis at the back of the property where you will find an outdoor daybed, outdoor dining and of course a BBQ for summer feasts.

I recommend this cute cocoon. Very quite. 100m walk from a bery beautiful beach, delicious Indian restaurant 5min away. If you need some rest. Here is definitely the place !:)
Shantala was a great host, very welcoming and easy to share a space with. The space is beautifully put together. Location for me was a bit too far out of town (probably made worse because I had bad rain and couldn’t walk/ride in)
Shantala's place is perfectly situated between great places to eat and the beach! buses to Byron are easy, and if you enjoy walking it's an easy and pretty wall. I was after rest and quiet time and certainly got that here. I felt right at home and enjoyed having space for my things in the kitchen, access to a bath, and lots of quiet and relaxing places around the home to read and chill. thank you for having me!
Beautiful art deco and architecture. This is the perfect place to stay in Byron and a great getaway from a busy life. I would definitely stay there if I go to Byron again. Shantala is super friendly and very helpful with all the recommendations.
I love Suffolk and Shantala was a great host! Her home is very clean and on a quiet street close to the beach. I loved walking to Jimmy's for coffee every morning and heading down the beach to the broken head walk.

Suffolk Park is very much a relaxed coastal beach suburb where you'll find people walking down to the beach for a swim or a surf and enjoying the beautiful weather and outdoor lifestyle that Byron Bay is know best for. You can find most things that you need just down at the shops, including a great bakery, grocery store, local pub and also a Vietnamese, Indian or Italian restaurant.
Getting around is easy as Suffolk Park is just a 10 minute drive from the main town centre of Byron bay, if you are travelling by car there is also ample unlimited street parking available. The local shops are just a short stroll away where you can get most things that you need. If you a travelling without a car, there is also a local bus that runs hourly into town.

Hello Airbnb community, My name is Shantala, I am originally from Byron Bay and after 17 years living in Melbourne and Sydney I have returned back to my gorgeous home town and what a delight it is to be here. I work in interior design, and love to have a calm peaceful environment to come home to as a little sanctuary to relax in. I am an outdoors girl and on my weekends i'll usually be heading straight to the beach for a swim or a surf.
