Let the shores of Green Lake sweep your troubles away and bring you tranquil peace in our Swedish Stuga iconically nestled on her beautiful banks. Our 5,560-acre Green Lake earned her title ‘Gem of 10,000 Lakes’ in its development in the early 1900’s. Green Lake is the largest of 15 lakes within a 10-mile radius of Spicer, Minnesota. With nearby New London hosting access to 17 lakes in 15 minutes. Known for its crystal clear blue-green water and sandy lake bottom, Green Lake is 90 percent spring fed and ideal for anglers, boaters and travelers alike.

My friends and I absolutely adored our stay at the Swedish Stuga! We didn’t want to leave! This is an incredibly cozy and well-appointed rental property and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and more. It was impeccably clean and comfortable. I hope to return someday and stay longer :)

The cabin was great with a beautiful fireplace! The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. We were there for only 2 days and regretted we had to leave.
The Swedish Stuga was everything we hoped for and more. Cozy and extremely clean with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The host was prompt and helpful with responses. The location was great - a two hour drive from twin cities - a peaceful street on Green Lake. We wanted to stay snuggled in forever. Thank you and we would come back in a heartbeat.
Beautiful cabin that fits the whole family! Everything was spotless and felt like we were at home! We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the near future!
