Your own private self-contained 2 bedroom apartment with own entry access, parking and large deck area with fabulous views across the bay to Kawau Island. It is on the lower level of our home but fully independent from the main house and we are mindful and considerate of your presence. The space is open plan with a lounge, kitchen and dining, seperate bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one single and one queen. There is one induction cooktop, a microwave, toaster, jug and teas and coffee. The downstairs apartment was recently fully painted and new carpet laid in the bedrooms and lounge. There is plenty of storage space, including a wardrobe in the queen bedroom and an open wardrobe in the single. We provide top quality linen including sheets, pillows and bath towels, but plse bring your own beach towels and mats.

Lovely little place for a great weekend around the Matakana area!
Very cute little place, ideal for our visit to Brick Bay and Matakana. Loved the little touches (plenty of milk for two!) and felt right at home. Would definitely come back!

Snells Beach is great for fishing and swimming, as well as be being close to walking areas and packed with nearby places of interest.
You pass Brick Bay winery and sculpture trail on the way into Snells and
popular Matakana is a 15 minute drive. If visiting on the weekend, the Matakana Saturday Farmers Market (open 8am-1pm) offers a taste of local delicacies, organic fruit and vegetables, hand made crafts as well as varied entertainment. There is also a second market at Matakana, 2nd and 4th Sunday. On the way to Omaha is the Sculpturium, a wonderful collection of art and sculptures.
Snells Village has a selection of cafes, restaurants and bottle stores and a grocery store.
A 2 minute walk is the Salty Dog, a local watering hole serving meals, drinks and a social enviroment. On the same road is a Al's Roast and Chinese takeaways and the Skillet & Fillet take out.
