Yellowstone’s west entrance is under a 1/2 mile from the resort. Located within a vacation resort property with no cleaning fee, this spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit offers a generously equipped kitchen with a king in the master, two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom, and a queen Murphy bed in the living room. You or the person you indicate in your message to be listed on the resort reservation must be physically present to check-in and must occupy the unit.*** Like many properties in the West Yellowstone area because of high elevation, there is no AC. However during the summer months, the daytime high temperatures average in the high 70s with nighttime lows in the low 50s. Each unit is supplied with a portable box fan, and the front desk may be able to provide an additional fan if needed . If having no AC will be an issue for you since it is not an amenity at this resort, please do not request to book. **PLEASE NOTE** Motor vehicle traffic is not permitted through Yellowstone National Park’s west entrance from early November to late April every year. However, the entrance remains open to hikers and cross-country skiers year-round. Guided tours in oversnow vehicles (snowmobiles and snowcoaches) are available mid-December through mid-March. The only entrance that remains open year-round to motor vehicles is the north entrance, 170 miles (3 hours drive) from WorldMark West Yellowstone during the winter months.
