A true private forest experience in the woods! There is mountain fresh air, hiking, skiing, and beautiful nights full of starts! Our approach is healthy, sustainable & eco living! Our furniture and mattresses are CAREFULLY selected and of great quality! From the expensive flooring all the way to the cedar wood ceilings, you will find the interior of great quality. Everything in this home is sourced with love, care, attention, with an intention to give you the most relaxing getaway. It is a space not just for rest and rejuvenation, but to enhance inspiration, creativity, relationship bonding, and self-determination. Settled among trees with big windows throughout, you will feel completely immersed in nature. Located on a very private location and adjacent to a natural reserve which makes for all the privacy and animals that may visit you during your stay. You may encounter bears, deers, foxes, herons, groundhogs, turtles, turkeys, coyotes, fisher cats and maybe we are missing a few 😅. Keep in mind this is a very tiny tiny cabin, it is only 382sq ft including the two lofts build in 2023! The lofts are about 2-3ft in height. The main reason we chose cedar wood interior is for its lightness, its resistance to insects, water and rot, and for its aromatic smell. Our European Oak hardwood floors are made by Madera flooring. We have an Eco-Support Pure Natural Latex Mattress which features a 2 Inch layer of 100% Chemical Free Dunlop Latex placed on top of a layer of 4” Micro Coils. Both the Latex and the Microcoils are surrounded with 14-32 lbs. of All Natural American Grown Virgin Wool. The Pure Natural Latex Mattress comes encased in mattress ticking made from GOTS Certified Organic Cotton Fabric. Our other mattress is All Natural Virgin Wool, and Organic Cotton and mattresses has a core of Micro Coils to provide optimum support while reducing motion transfer completely without any Petro-chemicals or Flame retardants. This combination of wool and organic cotton is the perfect blend for luxurious comfort, while the supportive micro-coil core provides infinite pressure relieving support for your body so you will wake up feeling refreshed and well rested. Our living room cushions are made of natural organic linen and filler with pure natural wool. You are able to unfold the living room cushion and use it as a bed should you wish to sleep on the main floor. Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need. Internet will not always be reliable since it is a very secluded location! ***FYI During spring & summer season you may run into ants, spiders or other insects inside the home. It is the nature of “cabin in the woods”! ***FYI During the winter months we don’t clean the snow. Your driving is your responsibility. FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IS A MUST DURING THE SNOW MONTHS!
