Up to four people can be accommodated. A luxurious space has been achieved with the carefully curated use of original artwork by the owner, a local selling artist, combined with an eclectic blend of contemporary, antique, and vintage decor and furnishings sourced both locally and abroad reflecting the owner’s Mediterranean and Celtic heritage. The newly laid solid oak flooring in the open plan ground floor space adds warmth and comfort to both the bright kitchen diner with access to a private patio for morning coffee and a cosy living room. The upstairs is comprised of two comfortable double bedrooms with a double and two single beds respectively and a recently renovated bathroom. The main bedroom has the benefit of a walk-in wardrobe, ideal for storing large items of luggage. A further Laura Ashley leather tub chair can be provided on request if seating is not to the guest liking on arrival, it is kept off the premises so as not to overcrowd the space. For mood lighting there is an intricately hand engraved vintage metal floor lamp topped with a hand-made linen lamp shade as can be sourced from Liberty of London. -large (55 inch) Smart tv with access to Netflix via our guest account -complementary fibre broadband wi-fi for seamless surfing and streaming when some downtime is needed -games shelf with quality hand crafted and ethically sourced wooden games -basket of good quality kids games can be found in the second bedroom inside the wardrobe -a miniature chest holding leaflets for local attractions can also be found on this space BEDROOMS There are 2 bedrooms, comprising a double bed on the first room, and 2 single beds in the second room. Both bedrooms are spaces to relax in. Bedroom 1 has a vintage cast iron Laura Ashley double bed with a brand-new luxury mattress from Marks and Spencer’s. The second room has two brand-new comfortable divans. These single beds measure 76cm x 190cm. All 3 beds are dressed in new high quality white bedding; 400 thread count made from Egyptian Cotton. Double glazed windows are fitted with Venetian blinds. There are mirrors in both rooms and there is both a walk-in wardrobe and a large built-in wardrobe with quality wooden hangers and shelving in the rooms. *child’s portable cot available or request, please bring own bedding *iron and ironing board can be found in second bedroom wardrobe THE BATHROOM There is a modern bath with a shower. Hot water is available at all times and is heated from a combination boiler. Shampoo, hand soap, bath foam, shower gel and conditioner are provided along with freshly laundered white luxury Egyptian cotton towels for each guest. The bathroom is light and airy due to a Velux window for ventilation. PARKING There is usually free on-street parking for residents and visitors in the vicinity, however there is also Bath Road Car Park, which is 2 minutes walk away (post code GL50 2BA) Contemporary parking prices are displayed either on line or in the car park itself. Charging hours are Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm, so Sundays are free.
