The Hadley House Relax with friends and family in this spacious historic home in the picturesque town of Guysborough. A lovely lawn slopes from the house to the calm water of Chedabucto Bay. Majestic trees frame the spectacular view. You'll find everything you need for a peaceful stay. The house, circa 1865, is in the gothic revival style with floor to ceiling windows, large spacious rooms and high ceilings. Fireplaces, wood floors, painted wood floors, claw foot bath and more. There is a back deck and a fire pit. Private access to the Guysborough Harbour and Chedabucto Bay.

Lovely spot
Stephen was welcoming and did prepare the house before we arrived. The ciders were a nice touch. The house was basically clean, like clean linens, towels, bathrooms and kitchen. The house is spacious and the location was very good for us for visiting our mother. The back patio and with the view of the ocean was very nice. The house is low in ambience, just basic furniture, and the house was dusty with cobwebs on the ceiling and dust on the bedroom floors. The house served our purpose and from what I understand we were the first guests. It's a good space with lots of potential because of location, charm and size. Some extra attention would make a lot of difference.

Guysborough is an active hub for many surrounding Eastern Shore communities providing all amenities. There are many beaches within a 20-30 minute drive. The famous Cabot Trail head is 40 minutes away. There are hiking trails and shoreline trails within walking distance. The Authentic Seacoast Distillery is a short drive away.
