Overall a good stay and the parking wasn't too much of an issue as it can be in the rest of Portsmouth. Unfortunately the kitchen could have done with more basic cooking utensils (no cheese grater, large frying pan or measuring jugs). This made cooking in the house a bit of a challenge despite having the kitchen. Overall the house was in fairly good condition although the decoration was a bit rough in places and hadn't been painted with that much care. 3-4* stay nonetheless which for the price point is pretty decent. :)

It was easy to find and access the property. The parking is permit only but Open Mind organise this on your arrival. There was a basement flat below the property which could be noisy when on the ground floor. Upstairs on the first and second floor where most bedrooms are, was quiet. Having proper bedrooms rather than sofa beds in lounges etc was a definite bonus and having both a dining area and separate lounge so space to socialise without feeling cramped. The house packed in a lot and comfortably slept 11 of us with two bathrooms plus ground floor cloakroom. The kitchen was fairly well appointed but didn't have enough crockery for 11. The hosts leave tea, coffee and fresh milk which was helpful. It did not have any wine glasses, corkscrew or bottle opener. However, it was clean and included a washing machine and large fridge. It was a flat, easy walk into the centre of Portsmouth and there are a number of places very close to buy food or have it delivered.

There was hair on all beds and sheets also house instructions and rules are given just before checking in didn’t like the noise levels messages keep coming it’s 5 bedrooms we had 9 guests with 5 kids ofcourse the noise will be a bit high if I knew I would not have booked
