Beautiful home, lovely surroundings. Clean and comfortable. The hot tub was nice. The driveway is steep and unpaved, so if there’s snow, park down the road by the cemetery and walk in. Our 4WD Chevy truck got stuck.

We had a wonderful time here! It’s perfectly cabin-y yet beautifully updated to feel modern. We loved the giant dining table for our families to sit at together. The kids loved the bunk room. The beds are all incredibly comfy, and there are extra blankets galore. The location was perfect for playing in the snow with our kids. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the hot water and the oven. For a house that sleeps 11, the hot water needs to last longer than one and a half short showers. We bathed our kids three at a time, and had to wait a few hours to bathe the next three since there wasn’t any more hot water left. And the oven and range took almost double the time to cook our regular recipes. If we were staying longer, those minor inconveniences would have felt more major, but as it was, it was the perfect weekend snow getaway for our families.

This house was super comfy and fun. It had just about everything we needed, and then some. We were only 3 and a dog, so all of the beds were overload for us, but we knew that going in. The bunks were really neat and fun for our daughter. The kitchen and living room might actually be tight with someone in all of those beds, but they are both well-equipped. The kitchen has everything you need, but nothing to store leftovers (Tupperware, zip locks, etc.) so bring your own. Even the kitchen knife set is complete and fairly sharp (hard to find in most Airbnbs). There's a path to the lake not far from the house (we used a maps satellite view to find it). The TV is great, though the internet causes some problems (we had to wait a while for pauses and restart movies a few times). We would definitely come back! (Even though the cleaning fee is really high and there's a gratuitous $75 dog fee, unfounded in cost, coming to an extra $300).
